Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or ADHD is a behavioral disorder. It can cause impulsive actions, hyperactivity and the inability to focus or concentrate. The behaviors are more intense and interfere with daily life.
Another complication about recognizing ADHD symptoms is that they can vary greatly. Not only will they vary from person to person, but one person may have varied symptoms over the course of time.

ADHD can greatly effect a person’s life. For children it can cause bad grades and discipline problems in school. It can cause disruption in families, too. In adults ADHD can cause problems with work and family life. A person with ADHD can make careless mistakes, may not complete tasks and lack organizational skills. Once discovered a person and those around them can easily look at their behaviors and will see what is ADHD.
Treatment
Therapy is also used to help the patient and their family learn to deal with symptoms and learn what is ADHD. When left untreated ADHD can lead to other mental issues, such as depression. Fortunately, ADHD treatment has come a long way and there are many different options so a person can find the right treatment for them.
As you can see it can be difficult to say exactly what is ADHD. However, for those suffering from it or those who have a loved with it, ADHD can cause many issues and is very real. There is a lot of controversy surrounding the disorder, but through constant study and research more and more is being discovered every day.
